Senior Copywriter

About the role...

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of ShopMy's brand voice and the ability to craft compelling copy across various platforms including email, social media and our blog. You'll work with the marketing team to develop content that enhances our brand narrative, drives customer engagement, and supports our overall marketing strategy.

Roles and responsibilities…

• Develop and execute creative concepts and copy for a range of projects, including digital campaigns, social media, blog posts and website content.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and effective communication strategies.
• Partner with our Creator + Brand Education teams to produce educational materials for our brands and creators. 
• Maintain and evolve the brand's voice and tone across all content.
• Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, audience needs, and competitor messaging.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Analyze campaign performance and adjust copy strategies as needed to optimize results.

Our non negotiables…

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in copywriting.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting styles and successful campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Additional skills and attributes we're hoping to find…

• Agency experience.
• Familiarity with writing for the tech sector or specific platforms, showcasing the ability to simplify complex concepts for a broad audience.
