Senior Copywriter (Performance)
Job Description
Fat Earth, Red Antler's creative performance marketing partner, is focused on growing direct-to-consumer brands. The team primarily works with startups, driving the growth agenda hand-in-hand with founders in a way that works for them. The Fat Earth team is seeking a world-class Sr. Copywriter to join its team and write for various brands and verticals while crafting performance-minded copy for Lifecycle programs and Acquisition channels. Youโll work with brands of all sizes and stages, such as startups trying to find their tone of voice to large corporations with stringent brand guidelines. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of data-driven marketing.ย
Responsibilities:
- Generate innovative and impactful writing that aligns with client goals and target audience insights.
- Stay current on best practices per channel and deeply understand how to balance brand ToV with marketing objectives.ย
- Be able to write for Email (flows, campaigns, SMS, pop-ups)
- Be able to write for Ads (Meta, LinkedIn, Display)
- Be able to write scripts and help develop storyboards (YouTube, CTV)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media buyers, account managers, creative project managers, and designers, to bring concepts to life.
- Ensure quality assurance by reviewing creative deliverables before they are presented to the client.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze performance metrics and campaign results to understand the effectiveness of copy and make data-driven adjustments.
- Be a leader on the creative team that can help foster growth in other writers on the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Copywriter in a performance marketing or digital marketing role (4+ years).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating high-performing marketing copy.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and performance marketing principles.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
