Senior Corporate Counsel

• Advise company on labor and employment matters
• Support HRBPs relative to investigations, performance management and terminations
• Support the Benefits functions with regard to leave and accommodation issues
• Work closely with Recruiting and HR departments to ensure compliance across all of Yext’s global locations
• Help draft and enforce company policies, including Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, workplace regulations
• Coordinate employee training programs
• Engage and direct  outside counsel on employment related matters
• Assist in drafting employment related documents, including employment agreements, commission plans, etc.
• Support federal contractor compliance

• 5+ years at a leading multinational law firm, in-house at a multinational, or a combination thereof
• Strong subject matter expertise on Federal and State employment laws; ability to handle new jurisdictions, including internationally
• Flexibility and eagerness to work hard in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organized, process-driven and client-focused team player
• Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and license to practice law
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance experience a plus
• Familiarity with pay equity laws and regulations a plus
• Prior experience with international employment laws a plus

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $129,600-$239,000. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
