Are you looking to flex your project or construction management skills and financial acumen at a growing and fast-paced company? Join us as a Corporate Real Estate Project Manager! In this role, you will oversee the planning and implementation of new facilities and retrofit of existing buildings across the enterprise, ensuring standardization in facility appearance and functionality. You'll institute administration and financial management best practices and policies, collecting, projecting and monitoring CRE project/construction costs, ensure proper forecasting, make recommendations and provide options for planning real estate projects and analyze all practices relating to the construction management, data gathering, design standards, and project functions within the CRE Department. Additionally, you will ensure complete coordination and communication of CRE projects and dissemination of information to the correct functional support areas for execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple construction projects at various stages, including concepting, design, active construction, and commissioning.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Ensure disciplined capital allocation through ROI assessments of use-of-space and prioritization of occupation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including venders, contractors, and developers.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize return on capital.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.


Must-haves:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically six to eight (6-8) or more years of relevant experience; higher level degree may substitute for experience.
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with project and/or construction management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Preferred:

  • Understanding of Real Estate principles and lease administration
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional
  • Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military


IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:

  • Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
  • Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
  • Rarely lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.


Working Conditions:

  • Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
  • Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
  • Rarely exposed to loud noises

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$138,634.92 - $207,952.37
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
