Senior Cost Accountant

Role Overview:

Finance Business Partner supporting Global Packaging Technology and Global Manufacturing Transfer teams within Global Operations providing full financial support including general ledger, capital projects, cost analysis, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities include general ledger support, budget, forecast, period-end reporting, capital expenditure requests, and capital project tracking.
• Responsible for preparing analysis for product transfers, kaizen events, and strategic initiatives.
• Global consolidation of operating expenses and headcount for support areas and Global Operations CapEx for US and OUS locations.
• Participate in various meetings (sourcing, transfers, etc.).
• Candidate will have global responsibility and interact with various finance team members for consolidation and information purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location:

Memphis, TN

Education:

Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Accounting

Experience:

Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Prior SAP experience preferred with solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Successful candidate will be an effective communicator, quick learner, and highly motivated team player who can partner with the teams in decision-making, creating working solutions, and streamline processes.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in an office environment and operate a computer for extended periods of time. Lift and/or transport boxes for storage requirements.
