Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and analysis of actuals vs. plan.
- Analyze product cost and variances associated with purchased and manufactured goods to determine root causes.
- Perform annual cost roll in ERP after working with Operations to understand causes of production variances; review BOMs and routers for accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze OES calculation for assigned locations.
- Assist in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory and follow up on inventory related order status (such as PO, SO, WO, service order).
- Work with Operations to understand expenses and deviations from standard cost
- Perform and report on results of periodic audits of Inventories (Work in Process/Finished Goods/Raw Materials).
- Contribute to design of manufacturing KPIs and improvements in monthly reporting
- Provide recommendations for improvements to Operations efficiency
- Assist in special assignments as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of general accounting experience, at least 3 of those in cost accounting.
- MBA/CPA/CMA is a plus.
- An understanding of GAAP in relation to inventory.
- Oracle Cloud experience or system implementation experience is a plus

- 3+ years' experience with manufacturing and standard cost accounting

- Must have experience working with standard cost
- Aptitude for relating manufacturing activities and process to financial outcomes
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous ERP experience required (Oracle, SAP, SyteLine, etc.).
- Exposure to HFM and Smartview is a plus.
