Senior Cost Accountant
Are you interested in making a global impact? In this role you will serve as the Finance Business Partner supporting Global Packaging Technology and Global Manufacturing Transfer teams within Global Operations. We are looking for a highly motivated team player, who can partner with various teams in decision-making, creating working solutions, and streamlining processes.
What will you be doing?
- Your primary responsibilities will include general ledger support, budget, forecast, period-end reporting, capital expenditure requests, and capital project tracking.
- Preparing analysis for product transfers, kaizen events, and strategic initiatives.
- Global consolidation of operating expenses and headcount for support areas and Global Operations CapEx for US and OUS locations.
- Participating in various meetings (sourcing, transfers, etc.).
- You will have global responsibility and interact with various finance team members for consolidation and information purposes.
What will you need to be successful?
- Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Accounting
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Prior SAP experience preferred with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Effective communication skills, ability to learn quickly
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in an office environment and operate a computer for extended periods of time. Lift and/or transport boxes for storage requirements.
