Senior Cost Accountant

Are you interested in making a global impact? In this role you will serve as the Finance Business Partner supporting Global Packaging Technology and Global Manufacturing Transfer teams within Global Operations. We are looking for a highly motivated team player, who can partner with various teams in decision-making, creating working solutions, and streamlining processes.

What will you be doing?

• Your primary responsibilities will include general ledger support, budget, forecast, period-end reporting, capital expenditure requests, and capital project tracking.
• Preparing analysis for product transfers, kaizen events, and strategic initiatives.
• Global consolidation of operating expenses and headcount for support areas and Global Operations CapEx for US and OUS locations.
• Participating in various meetings (sourcing, transfers, etc.).
• You will have global responsibility and interact with various finance team members for consolidation and information purposes.

What will you need to be successful?

• Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Accounting
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Prior SAP experience preferred with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Effective communication skills, ability to learn quickly
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in an office environment and operate a computer for extended periods of time. Lift and/or transport boxes for storage requirements.
