Senior Cost Accountant

What you'll do:

• Help own the COGS process from end to end; review inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies with operations
• Maintain accuracy of labor and overhead costs applied to intermediate and finished goods
• Reconcile intercompany inventory transactions & inventory reports with the general ledger for month end close
• Develop costing and variance reports sufficient for management’s analysis
• Interface with business partners to maintain the accuracy of fixed assets
• Represent accounting during the implementation of manufacturing execution system 
• Collaborate with supply chain and other key departments in the procure to pay cycle

Skills to be successful:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years in Cost Accounting function
• 3+ years in overall Accounting experience in Manufacturing
• Experience with intercompany transactions
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
