Senior Cost Accountant
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Set standard costs for new products
• Lead year-end cost roll processes and calculate revaluation impact
• Ensure accurate valuation of inventory, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Analyze purchase price and production order variances (PPV/POV)
• Report and explain variances between actual and budgeted costs
• Support capitalization of manufacturing variances and freight analysis by plant
• Prepare consolidated inventory reporting and assist with physical inventory counts
• Track and monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), including materials, labor, and overhead
• Generate detailed cost reports to aid management in strategic planning
• Contribute to annual budget and forecast preparation with cost estimates and projections
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend adjustments as needed

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–7 years of cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
