Senior Counsel

We are currently hiring a Sr. Counsel in our Dallas or Atlanta office. The Sr. Counsel will support the Momentum group of companies which includes PMG Worldwide, Koddi, Search Discovery, Momentum Commerce, and Shipyard (www.momentum.com).   The Momentum companies are built to power digital commerce and are led by the brightest minds and driven by data and insights. This position reports to the General Counsel.  The successful candidate will be an experienced and highly driven attorney that is looking for a role in a dynamic environment.  You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering high quality work product. 

General Description:

• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, marketing partner agreements, master service agreements, SAAS Agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Be an advisor and help design and maintain the global privacy program for all of Momentum. Respond to global privacy and security-related inquiries. Be a subject matter expert and resource on issues related to privacy, security, and data protection;
• Assist with other compliance programs and corporate governance.
• Conduct M&A due diligence.
• Draft and maintain knowledge resources, develop best practices, and conduct related compliance trainings

Skills & Experience:

• JD plus admission to at least one state bar, including required admissions to work as in-house counsel in either Texas or Georgia
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years as in-house counsel
• Experience with laws and rules governing technology and privacy. Experience in advertising and marketing law is a plus
• Ability to work with a variety of business stakeholders across legal, finance, sales, and client services
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of contracts. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints and deadlines
• A high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
• A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, knowledge of Ironclad a plus
• Eager to grow and learn within areas listed in this job description
