We are looking to hire an experienced attorney to serve as Senior Counsel and provide business perspective and legal advice on a wide range of issues relating to a rapidly growing healthcare technology company. The role includes routine and direct interaction with many teams within the company, particularly the Sales and Product teams, and includes deal governance, contract negotiations, general commercial transactions, and regulatory or other considerations relating to transactions and our products. Reporting to our General Counsel, the Senior Counsel must immediately be recognizable as a leader, possessing outstanding communication and people skills and know-how to quickly establish credibility and rapport with internal stakeholders. Further, the candidate must be execution-oriented, a quick study, and thrive within a dynamic and growing environment.

You will…

  • Review, structure, draft, and negotiate agreements with customers, strategic partners, vendors, and other service providers
  • Provide post-execution relationship support by interpreting contract language for internal stakeholders, drafting amendments, and working to help avoid/resolve potential issues
  • Become knowledgeable with the company’s contract management systems (Salesforce & DocuSign CLM) and work with the sales and operations teams to develop, manage, and continually improve the company’s contracting templates, processes, and playbooks
  • Provide pragmatic, day-to-day and strategic legal guidance to internal product, operations, and engineering teams to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives relating to current and new products and services
  • Identify and anticipate risks and opportunities across interconnected areas of the business and help to drive and foster proactive behaviors and practices
  • Roll up your sleeves and collaborate with the General Counsel on other legal matters and projects that will undoubtedly come up in a rapidly growing company

You have…

  • At least 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably at high-growth companies (a plus if you’ve made it through a few years of Big Law)
  • Built your career on being a confident and collaborative team player, who gets the job done and has a good sense of humor along the way
  • Strong drafting and communication techniques and can maintain a high level of attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus with senior leaders, drive change, and build the trust and confidence of internal stakeholders and senior executives
  • Demonstrated experiences in managing, prioritizing, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
  • A JD from an accredited law school and an active bar license (MA preferred)

You’ll get…

  • 100% employer-paid premiums for your (and your family's) Health, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life and AD&D insurance
  • Health Savings Account with contributions from connectRN of up to $2,000 annually
  • Free gym and parking on-site
  • Flexible time off policy
  • 401k with match
Please note that we are only able to hire permanent residents (green card holders) or U.S. citizens at this time.
