Senior Counsel

MyFitnessPal is looking for a Senior Counsel to join our Legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will focus on drafting and negotiating agreements with vendors and strategic partners, drafting and providing counsel for consumer facing terms, reviewing marketing claims, and providing general legal support to teammates and the business. 

• Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts, commercial contracts, and contracts with strategic partners
• Draft and review consumer facing terms, including terms of use and privacy policies
• Provide counsel concerning marketing and advertising in traditional and new media, including issues of advertising law, claim substantiation, sweepstakes, promotions, rights of privacy and publicity, third party video and written content, user-generated content and social media
• Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice to internal business teams to achieve commercial and product development goals
• Develop and build processes to ensure continued compliance with legal, privacy and contractual requirements for products and services

• A Juris Doctor degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
• 5+ years of firm and/or in-house experience
• Prior in-house experience with a high growth, fast moving digital company
