General Description:
- Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, marketing partner agreements, master service agreements, SAAS Agreements, and procurement contracts.
- Help implement and manage contract management/legal matter management systems
- Assist with M&A
- Assist with compliance programs, including privacy
- Draft and maintain knowledge resources, develop best practices, and conduct related compliance trainings
Skills & Experience:
- JD plus admission to at least one state bar, including required admissions to work as in-house counsel in either Texas or Georgia
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years as in-house counsel
- Experience with laws and rules governing technology. Experience in advertising, marketing, and privacy law is a plus
- Ability to work with a variety of business stakeholders across legal, finance, sales, and client services
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of contracts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints and deadlines
- A high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, knowledge of Ironclad a plus
- Eager to grow and learn within areas listed in this job description
