Senior Counsel, Product
SailPoint is searching for an experienced IP transactions counsel with 3-5 years of legal experience in IP law such as IP licensing and advising on IP issues. We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner, can operate independently, is effective at working cross-functionally, and is excited about being part of a growing legal team at a fast-growing technology company.
Responsibilities

• Support product and engineering teams for both SaaS and Software by providing counsel on IP considerations across management levels.
• Assist with review and negotiation of complex IP licensing matters for inbound IP as well as customer commercial agreements.
• Manage process and assessment of technology partner agreements.
• Collaborate with global legal team to centralize knowledge and increase visibility and alignment across legal function.
• IP due diligence for acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
• 3-5 years experience (either at a law firm or in-house) in IP law such as IP licensing and advising on IP issues.
• Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability both to assess relevant/material risks quickly and to communicate those risks to business partners in plain language.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing demands.
