Senior Creative Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer role will be part of the global in-house Creative Team within the nCino marketing department whose responsibilities include digital media content development. Common projects will be geared toward marketing assets ranging from but not limited to web design, infographics, social graphics, and slideware. The ideal candidate has a passion for creative problem solving coupled with business acumen. Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma design suites is required. A sharp eye for type hierarchy and layout is essential along with the ability to balance the nCino brand aesthetic across projects and mediums for use in varied business scenarios. The ability to prioritize work on complex, public-facing projects while simultaneously completing shorter projects with overlapping timelines is a must. A portfolio of work will be required to apply for this position. The ideal candidate will have varied in-house and/or agency design experience and is looking to grow their design career at a fast-paced, growing technology company in beautiful Wilmington, North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring brand integrity across all created assets
• Manage the development of all design assets across email, social, website and even printed materials
• Ability to execute ideas from concept to final creative
• Ability to collaborate and support design across departments
• Maintain positive work environment with high creative standards
• Staying up to date with current design trends
• Ability to multitask and know how to prioritize workload
• Manage all projects and project communication through our Monday.com project management tool
• Experience in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years experience in a design or digital media role or an equivalent combination of education, experience or outstanding performance.
• The capability to understand business goals and help to translate them into thoughtful creative solutions
• Experience designing campaigns across digital platforms including email, web, and social
• Know best design practices for different digital platforms and audiences
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Astute in Adobe creative suite and Figma
• Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy and composition
• Must have a collaborative attitude and receptive to healthy creative critique
• Must be able to clearly articulate and present creative ideas

Desired

• B2B marketing experience and/or a previous role in a digital media company a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design preferred
