Senior Customer Delivery Manager - Remote US
Job Description
The GridX Delivery Team is looking for a Senior Customer Delivery Manager to lead delivery of product implementations offering rate analytics to our energy sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical, product or project management background, an affinity for data analytics, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively across internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Customer Delivery Manager will work under the Director of Delivery and Operations and in Collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams, in the effective delivery, and management of individual GridX SaaS Rate Analytics implementations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the project management of on-boarding new client projects and existing client enhancements from project initiation to completion
- Develop, manage and maintain client relationships with GridX customers
- Successfully manage and develop client relationships and the client's technology objectives, collaborating with the sales/business development and product teams on identifying new enhancements and opportunities with existing customers
- Coordinate and engage multiple work streams with engineering, product management, modeling and the client
- Responsible for planning and directing the work of employees managing projects
- Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating client deliverables .
- Mentor employees in support of the successful completion of projects and client deliverables
- Facilitate communications and align expectations between the client, the project team and stakeholders
- Interface with executives and client leadership on technology, project and client issues delivering regular reporting and status updates on project deliverables and milestones
- Work closely with offshore teams to understand and direct project objectives, priorities, schedules and milestones
- Provides leadership in the Customer Delivery organization, leading employees on the successful delivery of client projects and enhancements, as well as solutions to operational issues
- Responsible for ensuring GridX is meeting client SLAs and operational requirements for current clients.
- Continues to look for operational improvements within the organization and implement solutions and/or mentoring of team members in support of those opportunities
- Leads regular review process for employees in addition to on-going mentoring and coaching of staff
- Responsible for contributing on RFPs with the sales team and assisting with the development of SOWs
- Identify and engage with potential partners.
- Assess and describe to relevant internal stakeholders the value to GridX of a relationship with these potential partners.
- Articulate the value to the potential partners that GridX can bring to them and persuade them to invest resources to make a partnership with GridX successful.
- Negotiate agreements.
- Manage and grow existing partners and alliances.
- Drive measurable outcomes that lead to growing GridX revenues and margins.
- Help to define and manage partner and alliances budgets
- Establish processes and forums to drive and reinforce partner engagement
Qualifications
- Proven track record in technology, consulting, program management or engineering experience with a track record of delivering successful projects;
- Hands-on experience with software development, consulting and/or product development
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to distill complex ideas and translate them into terms relevant to disparate stakeholders, including engineers, designers, subject matter experts, and lay people.
- Flexible with ability to adapt to quick moving projects and capable of working independently with distributed teams.
- Expertise in the utility or energy industries with a strong preference for meter to cash, specifically in analytics, billing, big data or distributed energy resources.
- Apply a creative and flexible mindset to planning and problem-solving with the ability to focus on the details while maintaining perspective on the big picture.
- Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering, or relevant experience in related fields;
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail;

- Strong management presence and experience advising external and internal teams and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering software and technology enabled services to large utility customers;
- Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCS)
- Experience working with a start-up
