The Sr. Customer Education Manager will build and execute on a cohesive customer education strategy based on customer needs. This important role sits within the Marketing organization, and reports to the VP of Product & Customer Marketing.

You will be focused on creating and delivering thoughtful, scalable and easy-to-use customer learning experiences that focus on driving customer success with Checkr’s software platform. Your educational programs and content will touch many parts of the customer journey, and will have a significant impact on time to value, customer engagement, product adoption, and customer retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the strategy for our customer education program and body of multimedia content.
  • Write and produce customer education content including learning articles, videos, webinars, campaigns that align with internal and external stakeholder goals.
  • Evaluate the customer journey by customer segment, gather customer feedback, and determine the right mix of educational offerings and delivery mechanisms to maximize customer success.
  • Define customer education program success criteria, measure progress, and communicate status to team members and leadership.
  • Partner with multiple departments such as Onboarding, Support, Customer Success and Product to build a world-class customer experience that ensures the right content is delivered to the right customer at the right time.
  • Continuously look for and identify innovative, scalable ways to improve the Checkr customer experience.

What you Bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS in one or more of the following roles: Customer Education, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, or Customer Marketing
  • Deep experience writing content to educate business users on software products and domain subject matter
  • Direct experience with leading website publishing and CMS platforms
  • Direct experience with video content creation
  • Direct experience with leading LMS platforms preferred
  • History of creating programs that measurably increase successful customer outcomes
  • Experience in crafting content that drives conversions, such as new product adoption among existing customers and sign-ups among new customers
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
  • Self-starter with a strong willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute, continually producing and refining multimedia customer education content
  • Strong project management skills to initiate and monitor cross-functional initiatives
  • High comfort level in speaking to customer audiences and internal audiences
  • Proven track record of creating of building cross-functional partnership and alignment

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $96,135 to $200,100.
