Job Description


We are looking for a an experienced and strategic Senior Customer Marketing Manager who understands how to translate customer insights and feedback into action.They will drive customer segmentation strategy and partner with sales and marketing team members to drive retention and upsell revenue at scale.This role calls for an individual with strong communication skills to work cross functionally with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing teams. You have demonstrated experience in integrated marketing, project management, content strategy and execution. You also have experience managing customer community groups, events, identifying and recruiting customer brand ambassadors and building a database of customer success stories.You will work to develop leads and ultimately happy, referenceable customers. 


Performance Objectives:

  • Develop a multi-channel customer marketing strategy including advocacy, retention and expansion. In your first 30 days, you will develop a robust, multi-channel strategy focusing on advocacy, retention, and expansion of our customer base. You will complete an audit of existing strategies, and partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to identify needs and key areas of opportunity. After reviewing our goals and product roadmap, you will present a plan of key initiatives and KPI’s you recommend for achieving these goals. 
  • Develop a collateral and content strategy. Within the first 60 days, you will conduct an audit of existing marketing collateral and recommend a plan for the developing content to support customer marketing initiatives including rich customer stories across all formats, channels and full-funnel activities including quotes, blogs, case studies, videos, references, events, and more.
  • Elevate the voice of the customer. Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, advocacy programs; continually recruit new customer advocates; funnel customer feedback and insights to sales, marketing, and CSM team.
  • Drive Product Marketing visibility and initiatives. Communicate the value of product features and enhancements to deepen the awareness and usage of OpenSesame solutions.
  • Grow and manage customer marketing strategies as business demands.  Help scale customer marketing programs to support our rapidly growing team and business needs across markets.
