Senior Customer Service Specialist

*Remote role with the expectation of coming into office 1-2 times per quarter* (Dallas, Cleveland, Tampa or Manhattan)
The Senior Specialist will be an integral part of the Group Benefits Solution (GBS) Onboarding Team. This position will participate in the review, research and controls for contracting and licensing of company Brokers. The Senior Specialist role will also provide consistent and trusted customer support to the Group Benefits Solution; and prospective Brokers. The specialist will also support the 'business as usual' responsibilities, as well as our team's broader strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analysis of prospective Broker contracts to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards and requirements for hire and retention
- Review and processing of all Broker licensing and appointment requests
- Provide guidance and trusted solutions to support the GBS team and prospective Brokers.
- Perform Quality Reviews of processes; identify gaps and suggest solutions
- Participate in stretch assignments as appropriate - special projects, technology enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- College degree is preferred
- 0-2 years of experience
- Strong Customer Service skills. Customer Service experience is strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge/ability to navigate Microsoft Office
- Critical thinking and decisions making skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate and build relationships
- Ability to appropriately represent the team across the company; and to outside Brokers
Salary range: $37,500-$57,500
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
