Job Description

The Senior Manager will oversee the top strategic Analytical and Intelligence programs within the Marketing Data Strategy Organization. Leads or coordinates project/program teams from design to delivery. Leverages knowledge, expertise, and leadership skills to direct team members and resolve issues to meet project goals and requirements. Plans, organizes, secures, and manages resources to complete specific project goals and objectives successfully. Facilitates engagement of project team members and ensures all project phases are designed, executed, and delivered in a manner that achieves business goals and meets customer expectations. Facilitates cross-functional teams, ensuring execution of defined deliverables and driving key decisions.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently manages complex projects requiring collaboration across multiple areas/groups.
  • Serves as Project Manager for cross-functional project teams comprised of business and technical team members, driving decision-making and ensuring on-time delivery of defined deliverables.
  • Plays a consultative role in helping put the appropriate people, processes, and tools in place to ensure effective project management and success.
  • Manages projects with complex business, operational and technical challenges.
  • Determines and coordinates sharing of leveraged resources among projects.
  • Defines, implements, and consults on Project Management standards and processes for relevant teams or projects.
  • Drives execution of process improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate a single enterprise data intake process across Business and Technology for all data initiatives
  • Ensure Privacy and security compliance by engaging with the Data Governance team for all new requests.
  • Drive the discussions for Scope, prioritize work items, and collaborate with Technology on a high-level design approach.
  • Develops the project plan as needed to identify and organize project resources, assign, and clarify roles and responsibilities, establish a project schedule, plan for communication, risk, budget, and quality assurance
  • Coordinate with Technology on project budgets and forecasts, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery

Qualifications:
  • At least one of the following: BA/BS degree and 8 years of related experience, OR MS degree and 6 years of related experience, OR Ph.D and 3 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years of related experience
  • Experience must cover all phases of a project lifecycle (Discovery, Definition/Design, Development/Testing, Delivery, and Post-Implementation Support)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing programs over $1M
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong presentation, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills; frequent interactions with senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience in writing, reviewing, and managing business specifications, technical specifications, project plans, and other related project documentation
  • Ability to understand, interpret, manage, and communicate technical and business team's needs, concerns, risks, issues, and collisions across all departments
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating program team members to complete tasks efficiently
  • 5 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification
  • Experience managing cloud projects in an agile environment
  • Agile scrum master certification
  • Experience in MS Project Plan
