The Senior Data Analyst supports the Client Accounting teams with core client billing and workforce analytics and maintains several Power BI dashboards for the firm. This position leverages data from multiple sources to identify trends, flag critical attention and actionable areas, and summarize findings and recommendations for Finance leadership.
Locations: In addition to the 14 MWE home office locations, we are also open to remote candidates in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA
As a Senior Data Analyst you will:
- Partner with the Senior Director of Client Accounting to create a data analysis framework for client billing, ebilling, client arrangements, client collections, and accounts payable data
- Develop forecasting models predicting and tracking monthly billing and collection data providing leadership accurate estimates and analysis
- Track, report on, and analyze eBilling reduction and rejection data to formulate client and attorney specific driven insights
- Develop and implement department scorecards tracking relevant key performance indicators and benchmarks to evaluate department improvement
- Respond and deliver on ad-hoc reporting from leadership for data analysis as needed across the department
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least five (5) years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis concepts, frameworks, and principles
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
