Senior Data Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a highly-qualified Senior Data Analyst to work in our Business Analytics Team. Business Analytics is a team of data analysts responsible for data acquisition, processing and analysis as well as using technology to solve business problems in various areas such as risk, trading, accounting, operations and business development. The Business Analytics team provides in-depth analysis on various business functions in order to gain insight and drive business planning, improve decision-making and solve problems. The candidate would own some of the unique technical challenges inherent in the problem and bring solid experience and perspective to the team.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

What you’ll do

This is a role with many hats. The Data Analyst will assist with enterprise reporting, automation, dashboard development visualization and data analysis using Python, q/KDB, and Excel. An ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, an eagerness to learn, and passion for automation, data and collaboration with other business units to solve problems.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience coding in Python, using version control software (e.g., GitHub), strong Excel skills and knowledge of databases
• Comfortable working with numbers and large datasets
• Detail-oriented with an intense focus on accuracy of data
• Excellent individual contributor as well as team player
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form; ability to work across teams
• Excellent judgment and the ability to work under pressure
