We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst o join our dynamic team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as part of the Home Appliances Team!

Position Summary:

LG Electronics is seeking a statistics-oriented business analyst to join the HA Go To Market Strategy Team. Responsibilities include: utilize our database to develop statistical correlations between sales data and geographic / housing profiles; utilize our database to develop statistical correlations between sales data and demographic profiles of consumers; utilize our database to identify retail store locations matching various geo-demographic profiles to help optimize assortment strategies; develop statistical models to help predict attachment rates (likelihood of products being sold together); partner with 3rd party analysts and developers to deliver reporting dashboards combining to provide insight into accelerating business growth; help streamline/automate internal data handling processes across various internal and external systems; clean and confirm new data received from partners; run standard reports on internal and 3rd party data sets; collaborate across the teams to constantly improve our approach to data analytics, and other assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build/maintain Tableau Dashboards on LG site as well as Saleforce platform.• Develop statistical correlations for the propensity of specific geo-demographic profiles to purchase or not purchase specific types of products, and identify where statistically significant numbers of people fitting those profiles reside and shop.• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate current data processes across the business.• Collaborate closely with GTM, Orion, MightyHive, CNS, and MarketSource teams as required.• Develop attachment rate modeling formulae, and participate in optimizing flooring via data analysis.• Provide dashboard trainings to LG teams on a regular basis.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in creating Tableau storyboards/dashboards from data sets to provide business visibility
• Experience in statistical modeling and developing statistical correlations using R, SAS, Alteryx, or other "big data" tool sets
• Experience with Google's Cloud Tools (Big Query, etc.), OLAP, database creation and maintenance, and cross-platform data mining a plus.
• Experience in SQL, Data warehousing, ETL and familiarity with Salesforce Consumer Goods cloud a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collegially
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MS Office skills, especially advanced PowerPoint and Excel (PowerPivot, VLookup, Slicers, manipulating large data sets, etc)
• Strong analytical abilities & detail oriented
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Some travel may be required
