THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Data analyst that will help us with our mission to empower healthcare professionals to find their dream job.
You will be joining the Data Team and helping us scale out Analytics at the company. This individual will be responsible for interfacing between various functional areas and facilitating self service analytics with Looker and Amplitude. You’ll work closely with Data Engineers to ensure the right data is available for our stakeholders and pay close attention to data quality.
Within one month, you’ll:
- Have started to answer questions about our data for our stakeholders with custom queries and visualizations in Looker
- Have made changes to Looker and worked with the team to add / augment data in dbt
- Have understanding of the data roadmap, and helped organized sprint planning meetings
Within three months, you'll:
- Be able to take the lead in handling incoming requests from team members by prioritizing more complicated requests against questions that can be answered quickly
- Be producing a weekly metrics report that will go out to the entire company and be presented at the weekly leadership meeting.
- Be running office hours and cross functional trainings to increase the accessibility of our data
- Be running the data team’s sprint planning meetings
Within six months, you'll:
- Have worked with and managed contractors to execute on BI projects
- Have optimized Amplitude for product analysis with better documentation and organization
- Have organized Looker for better ease of use, measured by an increase in usage by our internal users
Within a year, you'll:
- Be seen as a leader at the company who deeply understands the data and the business
- Have completed major projects with every functional area of the company
- Be scaling up your own team to increase the footprint of data and analytics around the company
THE SKILL SET:
- 2-4 years of experience in Product Analytics with strong SQL skills
- Attention to detail in analytical efforts and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dogged curiosity in tracking down issues in data sources
- Experience managing cross functional data and analytics projects
THE NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with Airflow, dbt
- Experience with Amplitude, Segment
- Experience with Salesforce
THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:
The range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
