Senior Data Analyst

What You’ll Be Doing: 

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Insurance Operations Department at Grow and play a key role in solving complex analytical problems and leading business-specific projects. In this position, you will be responsible for leveraging the vast amounts of insurance and claims data we have to solve some of our most pressing challenges and capitalize on unexplored opportunities.  

The ideal candidate is passionate about mental healthcare and is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, is ruthlessly pragmatic, and can identify the highest points of leverage to drive value for the organization. They are comfortable taking initiative to find the largest opportunities across the department to help us achieve our goals and making recommendations with minimal direction. 

• Building dashboards and reports [50%]
• Ad hoc data pulls/queries [35%]
• Strategic planning utilizing data-driven insights [15%]

Salary range: $97,750-$147,750

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

• You’re mission-driven and passionate about improving accessibility to quality mental healthcare
• You have 4+ years of relevant work experience
• You’re a SQL ninja (and bonus points if you’re comfortable working in Python and with Looker)
• Combines critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, a deep understanding of the business, and data knowledge to develop impactful and actionable insights and recommendations
• Comfortable with statistics and basic modeling
• Excellent communication skills; comfort sharing insights with different audiences (non-technical users, C-suite, engineers, PMs, etc. )
• Excited about being a decision-maker, driving recommendations, and working in a rapidly growing startup environment
• Bonus: startup experience, master’s degree in a quantitative field
