Senior Data Analyst - Operations

This role sits at the core of operational decision-making within a fast-scaling mobility business, where data is a key driver of efficiency, customer experience, and strategic growth. You will transform complex operational datasets into clear insights that directly influence logistics, risk management, customer service, and overall business performance. Working in a highly collaborative, product- and tech-driven environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure decisions are grounded in reliable analytics. The position requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to translate data into compelling business narratives. You will play a key role in standardizing data definitions and enabling a unified understanding of operational performance across the organization. This is a high-impact role where analytics directly shape the way mobility services are delivered at scale.

• Lead advanced analysis of operational data to uncover insights that improve logistics, customer service, risk assessment, and overall operational performance
• Develop and maintain a unified semantic layer for operations data, ensuring consistency in metrics, definitions, and reporting standards
• Design and build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
• Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, product, engineering, and data teams to support data-driven decision-making
• Identify trends, forecast operational outcomes, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across operational reporting systems
• Act as a key data evangelist, promoting best practices in analytics and data usage across the organization
• Support continuous improvement of data processes, tools, and workflows, including AI-enabled analytics practices

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or similar
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally within operations or a scale-up environment
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with data modeling and dbt
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker or similar BI platforms
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and its application in business contexts
• Experience using Python for data analysis, with willingness to further develop technical skills
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) into analytics workflows
• Strong ability to communicate complex data insights through clear storytelling and visualizations
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
