This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Product Analytics) in Spain.
This role offers the opportunity to deeply understand the end-to-end user journey and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive engagement, retention, and growth. You will analyze behavioral patterns, identify friction points, and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize the user experience across both free and paid product tiers. Collaborating closely with product, growth, and data science teams, you will design experiments, build dashboards, and track key performance indicators to ensure measurable impact. As a hands-on analyst, you will provide clarity on complex behavioral trends and guide decision-making across the organization. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will leverage advanced analytics tools and frameworks to support a global, multicultural user base. Your work will directly influence product development, content strategy, and business outcomes, shaping how users interact with the platform.
Accountabilities:
- Map and analyze the complete user journey, from acquisition and onboarding to retention and reactivation
- Identify high-value segments, behavioral patterns, and friction points using cohort analyses, funnel decomposition, and engagement profiling
- Translate findings into targeted, actionable recommendations for product, content, and growth initiatives
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking activation, retention, conversion, and engagement KPIs
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize user experience
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to feed insights into personalization, modeling, and recommendation systems
- Present analyses and insights to stakeholders in a clear, actionable, and persuasive manner
- Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks), including window functions, CTEs, nested aggregations, and sessionization
- Strong hands-on experience with behavioral analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of user journey analysis, segmentation, and targeting
- Experience defining actionable insights and translating them into product or growth recommendations
- Solid grasp of A/B testing methodology, significance testing, and statistical best practices
- Strong storytelling and influence skills for communicating complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of analytical projects from problem definition to actionable insight
- English fluency for communication in a multicultural, fully remote team
- Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) for advanced data manipulation or exploratory analysis
- Familiarity with DBT or other data transformation tools
- Experience with subscription or freemium business models, CRM targeting, push/email segmentation, and LTV/revenue modeling
