How you'll make an impact
SonderMind is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to support our client growth and demand channel expansion and to drive the acquisition and conversion of clients across our funnel with improved efficiency. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with the growth marketing team (including the director of growth) as well as other areas of the business (including partnership channel leaders, director of product) to leverage data to: find strategic opportunities to drive improved client acquisition outcomes, identify more efficient and effective spend efforts by channel, and uncover new areas of opportunity to propel our direct to consumer and partnership businesses forward. You will be expected to understand and quantify potential impact and help the business ruthlessly prioritize highest impact initiatives.
You will be joining a Data Analytics team that is driven, passionate, and collaborative. Our ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, and critical thinking skills (e.g., looking beyond the immediate request at hand to see the downstream business needs).
Success looks like
  • Within one month, have a clear understanding of the metrics that drive our business, including conversion, spend efficacy, and new client growth, and have a data-informed decision on the top 3 focus areas that will lead to improving those metrics.
  • Within two months, monitor and analyze, forecast, and report back on the key performance indicators for the client growth team that should guide how they allocate budget across channels and geos, making insights and recommendations available to the entire company, with a particular focus on the opportunities in priority markets. This will include drawing on new sources of data to unlock new insights.
  • Within two months, deeply understand our growing partnership channel and drive accuracy on highest ROI partners with hypotheses around why and how to test
  • Within three months, identify and quantify changes to product or channels to drive growth in converted clients through the SonderMind funnel, and develop hypothesis driven tests for the business to execute on.

Required Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, or management consulting with deep analytics work
  • Technical proficiency in statistical analytics/data visualization/business insight tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL). Python, R, Data Science experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in an early or growth-stage startup or in a high-growth environment (particularly in digital healthcare) is a plus
  • Previous experience with direct-to-consumer business models or digital performance marketing analytics is a plus

Our Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000-115,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan. Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
