Senior Data Analyst, Digital Product
Job Description
The Senior Data Analyst will drive key measurement and analytics programs and is responsible for all Reuters web analytics and digital measurement methodologies. This role will leverage available technology, datasets and partnerships to support business KPIs. The candidate will work across product, editorial, and sales teams as the analytics lead representing the larger data and analytics team. About the Role
In this opportunity as the Senior Data Analyst, Digital Product, you will:
- Serve as primary point of contact for all web analytics functions including requests from internal stakeholders, particularly the digital product management team, and managing vendor relationships
- Lead development of project requirements, analytic plans, SOWs, project timelines, and other related materials for the management of deliverables
- Evolve web analytics and testing functions, producing accurate, actionable insight to support digital product development roadmaps
- Develop Analytics Requirements documentation, unified KPI strategy, and benchmarking recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing and monitoring project progress relative to timeline and scope
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage data logistics and project executions
- Create and analyze automated reports across multiple data sources
- Scale analytics and reporting processes, and deliverables to maximize actionable insights across the client portfolios and internal teams
- Conduct analysis by qualitatively and/or quantitatively preparing data and analyzing data/information
- Prepare reports and analyses, uncovering insights and developing business recommendations based on data findings
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to improve engagement benchmarks & customer experience
- Participate in presentation of analyses/ reports to key internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating the key findings and recommendations
- Discover opportunities & identify ongoing needs to inform new dashboards, alerts, and other data products geared at optimizing revenue & business intelligence
- Experience with marketing measurement process, tools and algorithms a plus
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Data Analyst, Digital Product, if your background includes:
- 5+ years' experience in digital product analytics
- Deep knowledge in tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, SQL Server
- Ability to display data visually, creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables; proficiency with business visualization tools (e.g., interactive dashboard software)
- Experience defining digital user flows and building/implementing comprehensive measurement plans
- Well versed in A/B testing strategies and best practices
- Experience in data mining, quantitative analytics and presenting derived insights
- Demonstrated experience designing reports in business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Domo, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
- Ability to articulate and deliver insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders including executive audiences
- Experience with CDN/CDP integration with Google Analytics (Segment.io or Twilio a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Certification in Google Analytics

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City, Irvine). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,000 - $180,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
