Senior Data Analyst (Product team)

OBJECTIVES

• Enable the team with data insights to make better product decisions.. Amanotes has a culture of making data informed decisions. This position is responsible to enable our product members with the right visibility of data, to generate insights for better decision making, identify opportunities and improve success rate during testing. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Working closely with Product People to generate insights for data informed decision making. Example, identifying user funnels that can help improve the retention of our users.
• Identify and manipulate the sources of data available to Amanotes to generate these insights. Example, combining market data with user data to identify gaps in the market we can successfully tackle. 
• Use appropriate analytical techniques for a variety of use cases. Such as EDA, statistical tests, time series analysis, funnel analysis, k-means clustering and other segmentation methods, etc. to extract patterns and user insights from behavioral user data.
• Monitor and automate our business as usual activities. By constructing dashboards to monitor business performance.
• Proactively communicate a data centric point of view among the team. For example, understanding what the business user wants and converting that to meaningful analytic questions. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• +3 years of experience in the data/analytics field
• Very good at logical thinking and able to learn new things quickly, attention to details
• Strong analytics/statistics skills with experience working with a large amount of data (clean, visualize, extract insights, etc.)
• Be confident to present the ideas and translate data into understandable documents
• Be able to give clear and actionable recommendations based on data findings
• Strong experience using SQL/Python/R for data extraction and manipulation
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience with A/B testing and/or Hypothesis testing

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in mobile app development companies and/or gaming companies
• Have exposure in building analytical frameworks and working closely with non-technical people
• Experience mentoring other data analysts or engineers
