Job Description

Are you a data wizard with a passion for healthcare? Do you have experience using data and dashboards to add value? If so, we want you to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst!

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for using your data analysis skills to solve complex data challenges, optimize processes to increase reimbursement, and ensure the integrity of our systems. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards that track our performance and provide insights into areas for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reimbursement specialists to identify payor trends and opportunities
• Develop and manage Tableau dashboards for the team to track performance
• Validate that Guardant products are properly billed according to Medicare criteria
• Assist Reimbursement management with data requests and operational reporting
• Lead projects with other teams/departments for Salesforce, Tableau, lab information, and billing systems enhancements and applications
• Manage existing Excel spreadsheets for ad hoc analysis and compliance reporting
• Be the go-to expert on the team for analysis, providing support and training to front line team members who need help

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare revenue cycle
• Strong analytical capability to be able to use diverse datasets to identify trends
• Problem-solving skills to be able to make recommendations and influence change
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to present ideas clearly to senior management level and front line team members
• Experience and proficiency with Excel and Tableau a requirement
• Experience and proficiency with SQL, Salesforce, and automation tools a plus

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,052 to $126,795 USD. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $117,403 to $158,494 USD. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
