Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides oversight to data domains and maintains data quality within the domains.
• Resolves metadata and data sourcing problems to ensure data integrity.
• Maintains metadata and data dictionaries to ensure all materials are up to date.
• Compiles operational data to support the examination of past business performance.
• Provides support to business users by recording and generating reports related to data analysis.
• Access data operations processes to develop more efficient ways to manage investment data support practices.
• Manages data definitions and data traceability within data repository to improve documentation and coordination.

Nuveen is seeking an Senior Data Analytics Specialist. This role will be a part of the Data Operations team within the Nuveen Data Office organization and will report into the Data Management Manager. The Data Operations team provides operational support for investment activities and data masters across Nuveen and plays a pivotal role in the transformation of how data services are delivered to our internal clients. This includes enhancing data flow and data delivery processes, consolidation and validation of data, support of critical projects and initiatives, and the implementation of new capabilities to support the rapid growth of assets under management.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Experience with statistical programs (R, Python)
• College course work in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics

Base Pay Range: $25.47/hr. - $42.46/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
