• BA + 10 years of experience or an MA plus 5 years
• Active DHS Public Trust OR Top Secret clearance required to be considered for role

The Gist

The team supports the Office of Accountability with the development of data analysis tools, strategic planning materials and communications, and program evaluation strategies designed to meet the Office of Accountability's complex and unique challenges. The Senior Systems Data Analyst will work with clients to develop and enhance dashboards and other analytics products (data analyses, reports, analytical models).

What Your Day Might Include

Provide data analytics and reporting to support our client's programs, which are charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe and facilitate travel and trade. Representative responsibilities include:

• Applying advanced analytic techniques to study policies or initiatives
• Updating and enhancing existing PowerBI dashboards
• Creating PowerBI dashboards and data visualizations to support analysis and communications
• Identifying and exploring available data - identifying relationships, testing correlations, and testing elasticity / sensitivity
• Developing well founded and defensible solutions by considering alternative courses of action and choosing the most beneficial options to the government when faced with complex decisions
• Consistently providing insightful responses to government requests in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products
• Communicating openly and constructively with engagement team members and the government
• Leading meetings with client stakeholders

Requirements

You'll Bring These Qualifications

• PowerBI and dashboard/data visualization development
• DAX query language• Strong analytical capabilities/ability to explore and formulate insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Data exploration, survey analysis, data mining, data visualization, and coding
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• MS Forms
• Power Automate
