Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DataEngineer with expertise in Looker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join ourinnovative team. With at least 10 years of overall experience in dataengineering, including a minimum of 5 years working with Looker and GCP, theideal candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of LookMLmodels and dashboards. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team ofdevelopers in creating advanced analytics solutions that drive actionableinsights for our clients.

In this role you will....

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of LookML models and dashboards in Looker.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to our analytics platform.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Mentor and coach junior developers to foster their growth and development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to our analytics platform.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Looker, including expertise in LookML modeling and dashboard development.
• 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and leading a team of developers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Looker certification or equivalent professional certification.
• Familiarity with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
