Senior Data Engineer

Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Data Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Build and maintain data structures and ETL/ELT data pipelines. Provision, optimize and
maintain data feeds to external systems. Write code to validate data quality and clean existing data.
Help analytics team, upstream engineering teams, as well as non-technical business users in
understanding the Data Warehouse. Serve an on-call support rotation to support the Data Warehouse
and its automated processes. Create technical documentation. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel
to SoFi offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job
offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) PL/SQL; (2) Python; (3) Git; (4) ETL/ELT data pipelines; (5) Data
Warehouse; (6) Scala; (7) Tableau; (8) AWS or other cloud data platform; (9) Data Modeling; (10)
Relational Databases (Postgres or MySQL). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or
experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to SoFi offices may be required.

Salary: $166,358.00 - $191,311.00 per annum.
