Senior Data Engineer

Binariks is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Data Engineer (Azure) who will be a significant part of the insurance company from the UK. 

About the Client:
An insurance company provides a range of products from travel to gadget insurance. Their services often focus on offering comprehensive coverage and easy online processes.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting, designing, and directing Data and Analytics solutions that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-bias and that can be integrated and operationalized using available tools and resources
• Implementing ETL pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline
• Create own client's Data Warehouse data model
• Monitor CI/CD processes to ensure ETL pipelines continue to run smoothly

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
• Strong Experience with Azure Cloud technologies
• Proficient experience in distributed computing principles and familiarity with key architectures, broad experience across a set of data stores (Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory)
• Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
• Strong SQL skills
• Problem-solving mindset with an analytical approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good skill in BI Analysis is a must
• Hands-on experience with Tableau
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English for daily communication
