We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team!

The Senior Data Engineer is a member of our Data Engineering team and is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of data transformation pipelines for the entire company. Members of this team have a significant opportunity for growth and engagement with cutting-edge infrastructure and integration technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) Data from various cloud sources.

• Optimize and enhance existing data pipelines for improved performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Engineer Data Pipelines that are built to scale.

• Manage and optimize Azure data stores.

• Work collaboratively within the Data Engineering team to deliver high visibility data insights across the enterprise.

• Document and communicate deployment processes for Data Pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (10+ years of work experience in data engineering, analytics or data management can substitute for bachelor’s degree).

• 5+ years’ experience with SQL.

• 5+ years’ experience in data pipeline engineering.

• A firm understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure (Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory).

• Excellent critical thinking skills.

• Desire for solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have been materially involved in the engineering of a Data Warehouse or cloud-based Data repository.

• Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer certified.

• Experience integrating data from multiple data sources and formats (T-SQL, JSON, etc.).

• Proficient in Jira.

• Source Control Proficiency (Git, Azure DevOps).

• Experience in C#, Python, Java or equivalent. 

This position is 100% remote. The candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment.
