We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team!
The Senior Data Engineer is a member of our Data Engineering team and is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of data transformation pipelines for the entire company. Members of this team have a significant opportunity for growth and engagement with cutting-edge infrastructure and integration technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) Data from various cloud sources.

Optimize and enhance existing data pipelines for improved performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Engineer Data Pipelines that are built to scale.

Manage and optimize Azure data stores.
-
Work collaboratively within the Data Engineering team to deliver high visibility data insights across the enterprise.

Document and communicate deployment processes for Data Pipelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (10+ years of work experience in data engineering, analytics or data management can substitute for bachelor’s degree).

5+ years’ experience with SQL.
-
5+ years’ experience in data pipeline engineering.

A firm understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good understanding of Microsoft Azure (Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory).

Excellent critical thinking skills.
-
Desire for solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Have been materially involved in the engineering of a Data Warehouse or cloud-based Data repository.

Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer certified.

Experience integrating data from multiple data sources and formats (T-SQL, JSON, etc.).
-
Proficient in Jira.
-
Source Control Proficiency (Git, Azure DevOps).

Experience in C#, Python, Java or equivalent.Â
This position is 100% remote. The candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment.
