Senior Data Engineer

Arine is looking for an ETL data engineering candidate to join a strong team of diverse engineers in building Arine’s Data platform. This candidate will have a direct impact on the infrastructure and delivery of our core enterprise data offerings. 

The ETL Data Engineer will be responsible for various data pipelines and data ingesting and integration platform. The role will work in close collaboration with technical stakeholders to optimize processes to ingest large enterprise healthcare datasets and build novel healthcare data pipelines. This position will support, maintain, and develop software using a variety of different tools, including AWS stacks, Python, Pandas and Pyspark.

Participate in all aspects of Arine's data platform, which include:

• Writing production level Python and Pyspark for ETL pipelines
• Data processing, validation, cleaning, and debugging
• Using AWS services and technologies for application deployments to data APIs

-   Experience creating an automated ETL to process EHR and healthcare claims data using python, pyspark, SQL

-   Demonstrable deep understanding of healthcare data.

-   Experience with building a production grade ETL pipeline

-   Experience with AWS stacks

-   Experience setting up and executing jobs through AWS API with EMR, Glue

-   Experience with processing large data sets (over 1 GB)

-   Experience with data validation process

-   Experience with shell scripting
