Senior Data Engineer

BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Engineer at BlackStone eIT, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop appropriate solutions
• Create and optimize databases and data models for efficiency and performance
• Implement and automate ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation and implementing data quality checks
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data infrastructure and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data management

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Tableau , Alteryx Dashboards with AI and Advanced analytics
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks and tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
