About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Finfare, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing data pipelines and working relational databases. In this dynamic and rapidly evolving field, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust data infrastructure and staying abreast of emerging techniques and technologies. We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can deliver high-quality code, design efficient data models, and ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate extensive experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt Cloud.
• Exhibit expertise in dbt Cloud configuration, administration, and management.
• Show strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
• Design data models and implement data pipelines following established software development guidelines and data security standards.
• Assist with database administration, scripting, and the development of data structures while managing tables and access controls.
• Collect data and build data pipelines to ensure data availability and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for creating and maintaining database pipelines.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in executing tasks.
• Self-starter with the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively analyze problems and recommend solutions, weighing the pros and cons of each.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience in a fintech or data-intensive industry.
• Knowledge of data security best practices and data governance.
• Experience with Data Warehousing
• Experience with MySQL and MySQL performance tuning.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and techniques.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $130-$165K (Depending on experience and level assessed post interviews)
