Senior Data Engineer

This role offers the chance to lead the development and optimization of large-scale data pipelines that power critical business intelligence products. You will work on end-to-end data engineering, from ingestion and transformation to ensuring operational reliability at massive scale. • Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (APIs, Webhooks, SFTP, Cloud Storage)
• Implement advanced data transformations and domain modeling to unify and maintain high-quality data products
• Improve legacy processes by modernizing data architectures and ensuring system scalability and stability
• Enhance operational excellence through automated testing, observability, monitoring, and self-healing mechanisms
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, performing deep-dive analyses to identify root causes
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, support, and business teams to align on requirements and ensure smooth operations
• Apply AI and automation tools to accelerate development, debugging, and recurring operational tasks

Requirements:

• Extensive experience architecting, designing, and maintaining complex data architectures and pipelines
• Strong proficiency in Python for large-scale data processing and pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with data cloud technologies, streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub), and cloud database solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Practical knowledge of major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Ability to navigate technical discussions with engineers and communicate complex data flows to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve development speed, quality, and operational efficiency
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for building reliable, scalable systems and continuously improving production processes
