JOB TITLE:
Sr. Data Engineers (2650561)

POSITION DUTIES:
Drive solution architecture and perform deployments of data pipelines and applications. Work
closely with architects and business analysts in requirement gathering. Improve data quality by
performing data validations for migrations. Handle escalations and troubleshoot. Author DDL
and DML SQL spanning technical tacks. Work with analytics team to validate and modify
workbooks and dashboards. Develop data transformation code and highly complex provisioning
pipelines. Ingest data from relational databases. Write test cases and report results. Engage in
continuous integration and continuous delivery. Tools and technologies used include: DDL,
DML, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Python, Java, Scala, Sqoop, Streamsets, NiFi, Cloudera, AWS,
Snowflake, Databricks, HDFS, Hive, YARN, HBAs, Solr, Impala, Kudu, and SQL. May require
occasional travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the United States. Position may include
a telecommuting benefit from anywhere in the United States. Multiple positions open.

REQUIREMENTS:
At least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related
technical field and demonstrated knowledge, gained through advanced level coursework,
projects, and/or thesis, of relational databases, software engineering, and big data architecture,
using continuous integration and continuous delivery, query optimization, algorithm analysis,
data manipulation, and the following technologies & tools: Python, Scala, SQL, Hadoop, and
AWS. May require occasional travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the United States.
Position may include a telecommuting benefit from anywhere in the United States.
