Let's talk about the team

The primary role of the IT Application function is to analyze, design, develop, and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables include using current programming languages and source code to develop, test, and debug complex applications and provide post-production support within the agreed time, quality, performance, and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs, and system administration to define and document technical specifications and schedules.

Let's talk about the role

• Closely working with the customer to interpret the requirements, and design, define and implement the solution.
• Responsibilities include providing advice/direction in the design and implementation of data warehouse objects and BI solutions
• Have an expert-level understanding of SQL and stored procedures in SQL Server; preferably in Snowflake
• Create solutions that allow the capture of data into usable data formats for BI/ML Solutions
• Create dashboards in the BI tool for consumption by customers
• Be cognizant of the customer's expectations on timelines and work diligently towards achieving that goal.
• Might be required to frequently lead sub-functional teams or projects and train and mentor junior team members.
• Communicate and consult with Key Accounts and customers in non-technical language.
• Networks with contacts outside their own area of expertise.
• Leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
• Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Serves as a best practice resource within own area of work.

Let's talk about you

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field required, MS a plus
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and opportunities to stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Superior project management skills
• Ability to work in a continually changing, customer-focused environment and to be simultaneously accountable to multiple peer team members
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of SQL Server skills at an expert level; Snowflake Experience is a plus
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of business analytics experience supporting a sales and/or marketing organization
• Experience with ETL process and concepts
• Expertise and past experience in Software Development
