Senior Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team in Lisbon and drive the implementation of ETL solutions across various industries.
This role is crucial for managing challenging data types and enhancing our business intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of data integration tools and have the capability to lead projects efficiently while collaborating with both on-site and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between clients and offshore teams
• Design, build, and deploy effective Informatica ETL mappings
• Implement stored procedures and efficiently query databases
• Translate business requirements and analyst inputs into technical code
• Identify, test, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks in ETL solutions
• Ensure optimal performance and quality of Informatica mappings and PLSQL packages
• Regularly provide project status updates, including milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate with offshore teams to align project execution with client expectations
• Provide support and troubleshoot issues in the Informatica mappings

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Oracle 12c, Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, and PLSQL
• Background in developing advanced SQL queries and some query tuning
• Experience in database design and implementing complete ETL processes with Informatica for ODS, staging, and data warehousing environments
• Familiarity with creating advanced UNIX Shell Scripts
• Skills in deploying and debugging in Informatica Mappings environments
• Strong communication skills and the capability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and related technical fields
• Showcase of outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of C#/.NET
• Knowledge of Dell Boomi with 1-2 years of experience
• Data modeling experience
