This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

We are seeking a Senior Data Integration engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, deploying and maintaining an Operational Data Store (ODS) platform. If you have a solid background in data engineering, experience with cloud technologies, and zeal for building scalable and efficient data pipelines, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

• Data engineering expertise in planning and building robust ODS or data warehousing solutions
• Consistently delivers high-quality data solutions through expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data governance
• Understands data modeling concepts
• Adaptable, creative, and eager to stay informed with emerging cloud applications and data technologies
• Skilled problem-solver, handling complex pipelines & root cause analysis
• Effective communicator & collaborator, working seamlessly with hybrid teams

What you will do :

• Design, develop, and maintain the platform to meet business requirements
• Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data
• Leverage your strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate data workflow
• Develop and maintain documentation of data flows, architecture, and standard processes
• Partner with multiple team members to form complete end-to end-solutions
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in data warehousing engineering
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the ODS platform
• Bridge gaps between teams, integrating sources & consumers

What you bring:

• Background in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure
• Strong expertise in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure data management etc
• Experience with data design, data migration, and governance
• Good understanding of data architecture and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and good communication abilities
• Proficiency in programming language like Python, T-SQL
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Deep expertise in designing, building, and deploying large-scale Azure cloud infrastructures
• Experience with extraction methods like ETL tools (SSIS, Data factory, Data bricks etc), API's, CDC
• Experience leading DevOps practices and tools such as GIT, Azure Pipelines
• Find innovative ways to use data and related tools to advance collective objectives and build efficiencies
• Cultivate a continuous improvement approach
• Experience with traditional project management and agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
• Effective leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding hybrid teams

Education Preferred

• Solid educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience

• 5-8 Years of experience in cloud technologies preferred (Senior Associate level)
