What We’re Looking for

As a Workday Integration Engineer, the candidate will partner directly with the implementation partner’s Integration Architect and Integration Developer for the design, build, test and deploy each interface. This includes assisting in coordinating with vendor contacts across HR/Payroll/Finance early, providing any legacy documentation for design and working collaboratively with the Cross River Functional Workstream Leads and Implementation partner Workstream Leads to identify unique nuances for each integration. The Integration engineer will also attend the relevant Workday training in time to be able to support the interfaces after go-live with Implementation partner support and knowledge transfer during the project.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience building integrations between Workday and Fiserv and payroll systems
• Serve as the technical lead for integrations between Workday and downstream and upstream applications.
• Develop design and specifications for integrations between Workday and downstream and upstream applications.
• Create Workday Integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio
• Design, build, test and deploy solutions across multiple types and areas of integration
• Document technical specifications to support applications, develop test plans and perform unit testing for integrations
• Provide production support and respond to integration issues and incidents
• Troubleshoot integration issues across applications with in-depth expertise in Workday solutions
• Participate in tasks/integration activities across multiple projects across the entire application landscape

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience designing and building middleware integration solutions; preferably as part of or serving Fortune 500 organizations
• 5 + years of experience configuring and leading full lifecycle Workday implementations
• 5 + year of experience managing consulting and implementation partners

• Minimum 5 years' experience with Workday developing integration solutions and reports
• Solid experience with Workday Studio is required
• Experience with web service integrations (SOAP, REST)
• Experience with XML programming, including XPATH, XSLT, WSDL, and XML Schemas
• Experience with EIB, Core Connector, Custom Reports, BIRT, Calc Fields and Business Processes

• Considerable experience providing post go-live support on Workday HCM and Finance solutions
• Extensive working knowledge of change management principles and project performance evaluation processes
• Exceptional presentation and vendor engagement skills
• Experienced in implementing and sustaining best of breed SaaS applications implementations in an enterprise environment
• Strong consultative and advisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Experienced in working with both internal and system integrator teams for development
• Experience with Workday platform including system administrator
• Experience with Jira and Agile methodology
• Experience in supporting internal and external auditors with SOX ITGC, SOD

Salary Range: $120,000.00-$160,000.00
