As a Senior Data IT Architect, you will join a diverse team of builders and breakers that innovate and fuel game-changing outcomes with our Curity platform. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Understand the business requirements from Product Management and convert them into end-to-end functional specifications and technical design/architecture.
• Guide and coach the development team in all implementation phases (design, development, testing, documentation, demo, etc.)
• Ensure that the design and implementation meet business requirements and that non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, extensibility, customization capabilities, usability, etc.) are met in a future-proof manner.
• Review design documents for all layers of the software (e.g., Database, Application, API, UI) and ensure all layers of the product adheres to the latest security recommendations
• Actively contribute to design and development, leveraging hands-on skills in coding and QA.
• Continuously monitor and improve current architecture & design and proactively apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with other Architects by reviewing other functional specifications and involving other architects in reviewing their available specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, or a related field OR additional experience above the minimum will be considered in place of the required education on a year-for-year basis required.
• 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, Scala, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Angular, React.js, or Node.js
• 4+ years of experience in the implementation of multi-layer architectures: Application layer using Java/J2EE, Multi-threading, Spring, API technologies (Web Services SOAP and REST), Microservices, and open source databases (MySQL)
• 2+ years of experience in modular software architecture, such as Microservices and SOA
• 2+ years of experience in any of the cloud platforms, GCP, Azure, AWS
