Position: Senior Data Quality Engineer
Job Site: 300 1st Avenue N., Suite 500, Minneapolis, MN 55401
Hours: Full Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
Job Duties:
- Ensure that the data used follows the compliance, access management and control policies of the company while meeting the data governance requirements of the business.
- Work with technical groups to support the collection, integration, data cleansing efforts and retention of the data sources.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in program nomenclature.
- Work with business stakeholders to define quality metrics/rules to measure and monitor quality of data.
- Develop policies and standards to drive data quality efforts across all data teams from acquisition through consumption.
- Improves data quality through organizational, procedural, and technological means; Develops new processes, as needed, to ensure ongoing protection of data quality.
- Manage the up-front work to prioritize attribute data usage by making sure business & analytic SMEs are aware of attribute sets available to analyze critically & creatively.
- Establishes target goals for data quality improvement and identifies optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues to achieve targets.
- Will act as the gatekeeper of the MDM platform/toolsets and the associated backlog of work.
Telecommuting is permissible within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in the job offered or closely related data quality analyst position.
Special Requirements:
Requires 5 years of experience in the following: Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure); Database management systems (SQL or NoSQL); ETL Tools – Informatica or MuleSoft; Knowledge on Data governance and data quality tools (Informatica DQ or Informatica Axon or Collibra); Application coding and development lifecycle; Agile experience: following Agile Scrum methodology.
