The Sr. Data Reliability Analyst role is responsible for helping Hudl deliver high data availability and quality throughout our data life cycle. They will apply best practices from reliability engineering such as continuous monitoring, setting SLAs, incident management, and observability to data systems to ensure exceptional data to our Analysts and Product teams.Â
This role reports to the manager of the Analytics Engineering team and sits at the crossroads of the data engineering, data analyst, and data production teams. This function will provide best practices, accountability, and observability to our data pipelines.
They will combine elements of data governance, data engineering, and analytics, as well as strong process analysis skills rooted in a solid data background.
Hudl has a flexible location policy. We'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office or remotely within the U.S. This role is not open to remote employees in the the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregan, Rhode Island and Vermont. #LI-Remote

- Analyze Document and implement data quality policies, standards, and procedures for both legacy and new data environments.Â
- Design Processes to identify anomalous data and correct it
- Identify critical metrics around data quality. Coordinate with Analytics and Data engineering to create dashboards around these to help data teams establish quality data practices.
- Develop Create SLAs, SLOs, and governance processes to clean and organize our data effectively
- Implement and Own Contribute to the development of an enterprise data observability practice, including platforms/systems/tools, vendor onboarding and management, and integration with the rest of our data and analytics ecosystem.
- Drive You will drive data quality at the source, not by long workarounds, but by advocating with data producers to start with quality at the source.
