Senior Data Scientist

About the Role: 

We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Revenue, Content, Growth, and Business/Executive teams to ensure that all major decisions are data-driven. You will be supported by a close-knit team of Data Scientists and will have an opportunity to drive projects end-to-end, from ideation to implementation. Your insights will have a direct impact on the future of Tubi. 

Responsibilities: 

• Uncover insights to ensure data-driven decision making
• Build inferential, forecasting, and machine learning models to solve business problems
• Design and run experiments to drive an improved streaming user experience 
• Build and maintain high quality data infrastructure that is easily used by less technical audiences
• Provide guidance/mentorship to junior team members

Your Background: 

• Master’s degree or PhD from an accredited university, or 6+ years equivalent work experience
• Strong SQL and a scripting programming language (Python, R or Scala) are a must
• Experience with A/B testing and experiment design
• Experience with product analytics and working with event level data
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms: supervised learning algorithms, unsupervised learning algorithms, dimensionality reduction techniques
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Video streaming industry experience is a plus
